Ahoo Daryaei is a young Iranian woman who protested by walking in public in Iran wearing only her bra and panties.[1] She displayed her defiance of compulsory hijab in front of Tehran's Islamic Azad University.[2] The university has confirmed her detention. She is currently (as of November 2024) in jail in the Islamic Republic.
