“Louder Than Bombs”

A peça original inspirou as músicas “A Taste of Honey” e “Your Mother Should Know” gravadas pelos Beatles.
Morrissey usou trechos da sua peça “A Taste of Honey” nas músicas: Hand In Glove, Reel Around The Fountain, This Night Has Opened My Eyes, Shoplifters Of The World Unite e Alma Matters.

Bill Fay - Time Of The Last Persecution - 1971

I must stand by the side of the mountain
I must be where I know I must be
When you stand and face the gas masks and truncheons
You must know what it all really means

It is the time of the last persecution
And Caesar shall be raised
He will ask for his feet to be kissed by your sister
And your children will fear at his name

Do not avenge these deaths do not avenge them
You must know what it all really means
It is the time of the Anti-Christ know what I say
Make for your own secret place

And others will join you there
And you wait for the ships in the air
And you wait for a sign like a trumpet sounding
And you go out and walk to the Christ
And you go out and walk to the Christ

Goldfrapp: eat yourself

Eat yourself

If you don't eat yourself
No doubt the pain will instead
You could longer life
Seen it on this town

You went south on the train
She wore plastic boots for rain
And you crawl along exhausted
When you dream in tears, call on me

Who will I be when I'm with you again
Silver jet in the sky
You are the pain
Got a song, got to sing
For life

If you don't eat yourself
No doubt the pain will instead
If you don't eat yourself
You will explode instead

Cause I love and love you so
When I know you don't love me
You wanted life, stay alone
Get wicked, anymore

Who will I be when I'm with you again
Silver jet in the sky
You are the pain
Got a song, got to sing
For life

Led Zeppelin-Stairway to Heaven

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there she knows if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for

Oh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings
In the tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiving

(2x)
Oh, it makes me wonder

There's a feeling I get when I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking

Oh, it makes me wonder
Oh, and it makes me wonder

And it's whispered that soon, if we all called the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forest will echo with laughter

Woe, oh
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May Queen

Yes there are two paths you can go by
But in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on

And it makes me wonder

Oh

Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don´t know
The piper's calling you to join him
Dear lady can you hear the wind blow and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show

How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all, yeah

To be a rock and not to roll

Oh

And she's buying a stairway to heaven
